Search Terms
When a visitor types a name, location, or other search detail into a partner search tool, that query is sent to the third-party provider that operates the tool. Douglas County Inmate Population does not keep its own separate log of those search terms.
Messages
If a visitor sends an email or contact message, the information in that message may be kept long enough to review it and respond. It is not shared outside the organization unless a valid legal requirement makes disclosure necessary.

Douglas County Inmate Population links to sheriff pages, jail rosters, Wisconsin Department of Corrections resources, Wisconsin court pages, federal locators, ICE resources, and third-party search tools. Once a visitor leaves this site, the destination site's privacy policy and data practices control. Wisconsin public records pages may also be governed by public-access laws such as Wis. Stat. 19.31, 19.35, and 19.36.
Advertising partners may use their own systems to recognize visits across websites for interest-based advertising. Those tracking choices are handled by the advertising partner, not by Douglas County Inmate Population.
