Privacy Notice

This notice explains what Douglas County Inmate Population may collect when someone uses the site, how that information is used, and when it may be shared. By using the site, visitors accept the practices described here.

Information Visitors Submit

Search Terms

When a visitor types a name, location, or other search detail into a partner search tool, that query is sent to the third-party provider that operates the tool. Douglas County Inmate Population does not keep its own separate log of those search terms.

Messages

If a visitor sends an email or contact message, the information in that message may be kept long enough to review it and respond. It is not shared outside the organization unless a valid legal requirement makes disclosure necessary.

  • Device category and operating system.
  • Pages viewed and approximate time spent on pages.
  • Referring website, when one is available.
